Why Our Pub is Great
You can expect a warm welcome from our team, at The George Hotel; we are easy to find - on the high street, right in the heart of the beautiful coastal town of Poole. We provide free parking and disabled access for our customers. We’re renowned for great food and drink, in a homely atmosphere.
Save on the washing up, get some friends together and join us for dinner. Food is served from noon, so whether you’re stopping by for lunch or dinner, you’ll find delicious pub classics - fish and chips, lasagne, grills, burgers and more.
We’re a welcoming local pub with a great social calendar. Get your sports fix at The George Hotel, where we show matches regularly via BT Sports. We provide live entertainment every other weekend and a weekly quiz. When the weather is good, enjoy a drink our beer garden.

If you’re looking for somewhere to grab a bite to eat with friends, or pop in after work – head on over! Our new menu features lots of dishes with big flavour! From our Gammon Steak Melt Stack (topped with pulled pork chilli if you fancy it!) to Golden Scampi or even The Yorkshire Platter; there’s something to tempt you for any hankering. Fancy something a little lighter? No problem – check out our Chicken and Bacon Salad, or range of ‘skinny’ burgers that will go nicely with one of our refreshing drinks!
